WHAT IS WAGYU BEEF?
Wagyu originated from Japan and it is widely accepted that it is the best beef in the world. It literally means “Japanese Beef” Wa for Japanese, Gyu for beef.
Wagyu is distinctive because it is highly marbled. Marble or intermuscular fat is the intermingling or dispersion of the fat within the meat. More marbling means more tender and creamier in texture than any other beef.
